Quickstart

This guide gets you from a new Alfa account to a finished article with the shortest realistic path.

In the current app, your exact limits depend on the tier shown in Billing. New accounts start with a small beta allocation, and paid workspaces unlock recurring article and topic capacity.

Before You Start

Have these ready:

  • Your product website URL
  • One to three article URLs that reflect your preferred writing style
  • A rough idea of the topics or competitor terms you want to target
  • CMS access if you want to publish directly to WordPress

1. Create a Brand Profile

Go to Brands and create your first brand.

1

Add the basics

Enter a profile name, brand name, website URL, and tagline.

2

Use website prefill

Let Alfa analyze your site to suggest brand context, products, competitors, target audience, and candidate article URLs.

3

Analyze voice

Paste one to three article URLs that represent the writing style you want Alfa to follow.

4

Save the brand

Review the generated context and save the profile so it becomes available across topic discovery and article generation.

2. Discover Topics

Open Discover Topics for the brand you just created.

You have two ways to start:

  • Run Alfa’s built-in topic discovery
  • Import a CSV or JSON topic set you already have

If you use discovery, Alfa researches the brand and competitors, then saves topics grouped by funnel stage. Each topic can include:

  • title
  • primary keyword
  • secondary keywords
  • search volume
  • keyword difficulty
  • search intent
  • funnel stage
  • rationale

3. Generate an Article

When you have a topic backlog, click Generate Article for a saved topic. You can also go directly to Create / Write and enter a fresh article request.

In the UI, Alfa supports these article shapes:

  • Listicle
  • Topic Guide
  • Comparison
  • How-to Guide
  • Alternatives Guide
  • Product Review

Choose a target word count, then start the run.

4. Wait for the Pipeline to Finish

Alfa tracks article generation as a multi-step pipeline. If a run stalls or fails, you can retry it from the topic backlog or from article status screens.

The output route is straightforward:

  1. Topic or keyword goes in
  2. Alfa runs the agent pipeline
  3. The completed run opens in the article review/editor flow

5. Review the Article

In the article workspace, you can:

  • read the full draft
  • inspect SEO fields such as title, slug, and meta description
  • review citations and verification data when present
  • copy Markdown, HTML, or plain text
  • export Markdown, MDX, HTML, or JSON

6. Publish or Export

If your brand has WordPress configured, you can publish directly from Alfa. Otherwise export the content for your own workflow.
